Job Details
*This is an onsite position*
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and review monthly financial statements and property management reports.
2. Perform month-end close procedures and maintain the general ledger.
3. Conduct CAM reconciliations and year-end close activities.
4. Reconcile all balance sheet accounts and bank statements to ensure accuracy.
5. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
6. Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable (AP/AR) processes.
7. Work closely with property managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
8. Analyze and interpret financial data and make recommendations based on findings.
9. Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
10. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting or a similar role.
3. Proficiency in CAM reconciliations, year-end close, property, reconcile, project accounting, and month-end procedures.
4. Strong knowledge of GAAP, AP/AR, and general ledger management.
5. Experience with RealPage OneSite or similar property management accounting software.
6. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
10. Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
