REPORTS TO: Director of Marketing and Events

SUMMARY:
This person is responsible for the Coordination of WCSG sponsored and co-sponsored events, community connections drives and contests.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Other duties may be assigned.
- Coordinate the planning of WCSG sponsored events such as Father Daughter Banquet and Donor events
- Venue
- Ticketing
- Décor
- Artist management
- Coordination of On-air contests and promotions for WCSG
- Coordinate Community Connections Drives for WCSG
- Schedule City Stops and represent WCSG with an event booth throughout the year
- Remotes throughout our listening area
- Parades
- Concerts
- Package sponsorship opportunities for Events and Contests
- Work with Raisers Edge for Listener Data entry and ticketing services
- Create one sheets for events, and promotions to be used for on-air, web and social media content
- Coordinate and host Artist Station visits.
- Oversee ordering, inventory and storage of, promotional materials (giveaways, promotional items, displays, etc.)
- Coordinate recruitment, cultivation and scheduling of our “Crew” volunteers to help with events
- Assist with administrative paperwork for Promotions Department
- Assist in developing events that also serve as non-traditional revenue opportunities
- Operate WCSG vehicles throughout West Michigan
- Assist with visual and video content for Social Media platforms as needed
SALARY AND START DATE:
- Salary: $37,440 to $40,000 commensurate with education and experience. A full benefit package including health plans, disability coverage, and retirement is included.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in communications, event management or related field and/or a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in promotions or events management
