INTERNSHIP SUMMARY
Prometheus Summer Internship Program is a paid program that will provide you with an inside look at the real estate operations of Prometheus, the largest private owner of multi-family properties in the Bay Area. The internship is intended to provide a unique opportunity to earn valuable experiences by working directly with the department managers on a daily basis. Your responsibilities will focus on providing assistance to your immediate department in the execution of daily tasks and support of internal and external customers by collaborating with others on providing outstanding service to our Prometheans, Neighbors, and Vendors. Areas of learning will include becoming familiar with varying types of real estate transactions and their associated documents, and cross-functionality in a diverse working environment. This role will require you to work up to 40 hours per week, for a duration of 9-12 weeks.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Acquisitions, Development and Construction Intern will support the respective departments with:
- Financial and Investment Analysis – You will gather data and evaluate valuation models for current and future acquisition and development projects. You will identify strengths and weaknesses of proposed transactions, provide timely analyses and document assumptions and scenarios appropriately.
- Financial Responsibilities – You will monitor and track project data including contracts, schedules, budgets and cash-flows on an on-going basis.
- Due Diligence Responsibilities – You will assist in the preparation and compilation of due diligence reports for potential acquisitions including materials, budgets, financial models, market reports and schedules.
- Deal Pursuit – Work closely with the construction and acquisitions teams to evaluate the construction costs and risks of a potential new development. Learn about the factors considered before making a significant investment.
- Preconstruction – In this role, you'll take part in the development of all aspects of a construction contract, diving into the details of what it takes to set up a project for success.
- Plan Development – Spend time with our team to get an in depth understanding of the challenges encountered in project design and permitting.
- Construction Management – You will work closely with our team to get an in depth understanding of the challenges encountered as we prepare to deliver the first phase of one our most significant developments.
- Project Closeout – You'll get exposure to the project close out process and gain insight as to the challenges faced in closing out a contract and finishing a project.
- Presentation: Over the course of your internship, you will create a capstone presentation that you will present to the executive team.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
