Project Support - Business Analyst - LaBella Associates

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for consideration of an open Project Support - Business Analyst position in our Program Management division. This position will be located at our Rochester, NY office (hybrid working model).

The Program Management Services Division at LaBella provides comprehensive management services for complex projects and multi-year capital programs. Teams are established to provide a customized mix of business consulting, project management, financial control and monitoring, administrative, and technical support services.

The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting project and program success by gathering and analyzing business requirements, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and ensuring that projects align with organizational objectives. The Business Analyst helps bridge the gap between business needs and project deliverables by streamlining processes, documenting workflows, and building critical reporting tools. 

Salary Range: $40,000 - $65,000

The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of analyst assignments and resolving recurring problems independently without close supervision
• Parse data and present in a meaningful format
• Analyze project financials and budgets
• Anticipate upcoming responsibilities or needs and use initiative appropriately
• Utilize SAP to:
• Prepare purchase requests and purchase orders
• Troubleshoots and resolves errors or issues with attention to detail
• Processes receipts, accruals, and invoices as part of the purchasing process

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business related field
• 3 years of experience in construction and project management
• Excel, Microsoft and PowerPoint Expertise. (Microsoft Excel utilization of pivot tables, v look up, algorithms, and excel other functions).
• Experience in the functional area under which it will be contracted: Substations, T&D, Gas-Hydro and OSG
