Project Superintendent - Judge Group

Location: Spring City, PA
Salary: $80,000.00 USD Annually - $100,000.00 USD Annually
Description:

Role Overview: The Superintendent, under the Lead Superintendent’s supervision, ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations. This role involves maintaining client relationships and ensuring smooth operations. Travel, night shifts, and variable hours are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel to job sites with extended stays during projects.
• Adapt to variable work schedules, including nights.
• Understand and exceed client expectations.
• Collaborate with the project manager during preconstruction.
• Develop and review project scope and schedule.
• Address owner, landlord, and regulatory requirements.
• Understand project strategy, financial goals, and logistics.
• Oversee daily field operations for safety and quality.
• Maintain updated project schedules with the Project Management Team.
• Communicate changes in job conditions and subcontractor relations.
• Foster positive subcontractor relations.
• Participate in company-wide training initiatives.
• Create and maintain 3-Week Look Ahead schedules.
• Implement and manage on-site safety programs.
• Monitor and control project costs.
• Lead safety meetings and daily task huddles.

Competencies:

• Accountability, accuracy, effective communication, customer orientation, organization, patience, problem-solving, team building, and working under pressure.

Education:

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in construction science, management, engineering, or architecture.

Experience:

• 5 - 10 years in Commercial Construction Superintendent roles, with knowledge in Big Box Retail, Warehousing, Manufacturing, and Grocery projects.

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency in internet navigation, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and CSI division system.

Licenses:

• Valid Driver’s License without violations.
