JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced Project Support Associate Specialist. In this role you will verify and research insurance coverage for clients as well as providing quality reviews of data prior to delivering information to clients. The Project Specialist plays a crucial role for our lines of coordination of benefits by researching whether existence of commercial coverage was active at the time of Medicaid paying claims and performing detailed research on carriers to ensure correct information is obtained. Your duties will also be researching and performing verification of insurance carriers utilizing carrier's web portal, outbound calls to carriers, and fax request. You will be working with a team and together be responsible for modeling sophisticated problems, discovering insights and identifying business opportunities from data using a variety of techniques.
Role and Responsibilities:
Performs insurance verifications and research of policies for a variety of carriers
Provide accurate documentation of findings
Adhere to the client's SLAs and consistently meet production targets
Collaborate with team members, management, and clients to resolve client inquiries
Process client inquiries more efficiently and effectively by reviewing and recommending changes to procedures and workflow
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Have a minimum of 2 years insurance verification experience
Strong problem-solving skills
Must have great attention to detail in documentation, reading, and following instructions
Knowledge of basic computer software and Microsoft Office applications
Able to perform written and oral communications effectively and efficiently with co-workers, insurance representatives, and clients.
Ability to understand your roles on a team and identify the correct stakeholders to consult to resolve client inquires
