A prominent EPC contractor focused on utility and industrial infrastructure is seeking a Site Engineer with expertise in substation projects. The candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience and will play a key role in supporting construction teams for a large 500kV HVDC substation project. Responsibilities include providing technical guidance, ensuring adherence to engineering standards, and resolving construction-related issues. The role requires effective collaboration with stakeholders and maintaining accurate project documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary technical expert on-site, guiding construction crews and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with engineering specifications and industry standards.
• Address construction challenges independently or as part of the team.
• Identify risks and implement measures to prevent delays and safety hazards.
• Manage submittals and requests for information (RFIs).
• Maintain project documentation and support local approval processes.
• Report on open issues to management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in high voltage substation construction.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and installations.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred but not required.
