About the Job
We are seeking a highly organized project scheduler to develop, manage, and oversee project schedules. In this role, you will be collaborating with project engineers, project managers, shop personnel, and various other engineering and technical disciplines to develop tracking mechanisms and monitor key tasks on projects. You will consolidate information into reports to share with upper management for monitoring and decision-making.
Scheduler will report to the Manager of Flare Project Execution.
Job Duties
- Consulting with project managers, project engineers, and technical personnel to set up assignments, tasks, and subtasks.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective scheduling management system.
- Coordinating project timelines with internal team.
- Monitoring project timelines and deadlines.
- Identifying potential project schedule delays and facilitating management intervention in a timely manner.
- Evaluating performance and preparing project progress reports.
- Accommodating updates and changes to project schedules.
- Recommending actions and improvements to keep projects on time.
- Keeping management informed of project timelines and deadlines.
- Documenting project scheduling processes and maintaining records.
Project Scheduler Requirements
- A minimum of three years' experience as a project scheduler in a engineered equipment and/or manufacturing industry.
- Advanced proficiency in project scheduling software.
- Strong proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Self-starter
- Extensive experience in schedule planning and management.
- Advanced ability to evaluate project progress and facilitate interventions.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
