About the Job
PolyCon Solutions is seeking a Project Scheduler to support our Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) client with ensuring contract requirements and subcontractor responsibilities are being accomplished, including working on the definition and implementation of project planning techniques to provide visibility on the contract. Duties may include developing budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program and participating in and establishing and defining program plan requirements.
Duties Include:
- Support the FAA Terminal Facilities Planning, Design and Implementation teams with information needed to support cost and schedule estimating requirements outlined in the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) for the replacement of Airport Traffic Control Towers (ATCT) and Terminal Radar Approach Controls (TRACONs) as well as information within unique Terminal Facilities replacement processes, documentation, and data sources.
- Supports the development of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Lifecycle Cost Estimate (LCCE) as outlined.
- Provides expertise to conduct research, evaluations, and studies; presents recommendations/solutions related to short and long-term program planning requirements.
- Provides assistance and recommendations to FAA managers and staff who directly affect the conduct and attainment of agency goals.
- Support the FAA Facilities planning and execution teams with Facilities and Execution (F&E) and Bilateral Infrastructure Law (BIL) project prioritization and project tracking.
- Provides planning, scheduling, networking, and coordination assistance among all service area and headquarters organizations, involving NAS implementation and integration efforts and related to budget considerations as it applies to Life Cycle planning.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be able to develop project files using Microsoft Project application.
- Must possess excellent oral and written with proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
- Strong ability to interface with senior management.
- Must be a proactive, flexible, team player and adjust to multiple tasking.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, self-motivation, and follow-up.
- Must have superior communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
Location:
- Customer expectation of two days per week in the Eastern Service Center Office (1701 Columbia Avenue
College Park, GA 30337). - The primary customer is the Terminal Program Implementation Team (AJV-E37).
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the FAA Corporate Work Plan (CWP).
- Knowledge of Oracle Primavera Portfolio Manager (OPPM).
- Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint (FAA KSN).
- Possess a Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst certification (CCE/A), and/or an American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE) Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) Certification, or similar accreditation.
- FAA Facility, Service Area, or Headquarters Managerial or Support Experience.
- Well-organized, schedule and quality driven, and a proactive multi-tasker.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience; or Master's Degree with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience.
