Our esteemed company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Scheduler to join our team. This role is crucial to the successful planning, management, and execution of our commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and management of project schedules, ensuring that all elements of the project are coordinated efficiently. This position requires a high level of organization, problem-solving skills, and the ability to analyze complex data.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, maintain and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, incorporating all phases of the project lifecycle, including design, construction, and commissioning.
2. Utilize PowerBI and BlueBeam to create visual representations of project timelines and progress.
3. Implement LEAN scheduling principles to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
4. Perform cost loading scheduling to ensure that project costs are accurately reflected and tracked in the project schedule.
5. Conduct CPM Scheduling to determine the most efficient sequence of project activities.
6. Collaborate with project teams to ensure project milestones are understood and are being met.
7. Identify potential schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies.
8. Provide regular updates to project stakeholders regarding schedule status, including any changes or delays.
9. Utilize strong analytical skills to interpret complex project data and make informed decisions.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project scheduling.
2. A degree in Construction Management or a related field.
3. Proficiency in Primavera P6 is a must.
4. Experience with PowerBI, BlueBeam, and other project management software.
5. Solid understanding of commercial construction processes and principles.
6. Ability to perform cost loading and CPM scheduling.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Proven track record of successfully managing schedules for large-scale commercial projects.
10. Knowledge of LEAN scheduling principles is a plus.
