Job Title: Project and Program Management - Communications Specialist 4
Job Location: Fully Remote (EST Timezone)
Job Duration: 4 months of Contract (High Chances of Extension)
Job Summary:
The main function of a Communications Specialist is to assist corporate communications with message development, writing, and editing.
Job Responsibilities:
" Responsible for ensuring timely, creative and accurate dissemination of news, multimedia content and information
" Create a variety of content for platforms, ensuring quality, accuracy and effective storytelling that aligns with corporate messaging, including press releases, newsletters, blog posts, social media posts, webinars, podcasts, videos, infographics, and presentations.
" Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as legal AI experts, lawyers, researchers, developers, consultants, media, and industry associations, to amplify messaging
Skills:
" Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
" Basic ability to work independently and manage one s time.
" Basic knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
" Basic knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods.
" Experience in video production is preferred.
Education/Experience:
" Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training preferred.
" 8-10 years related experience required.
Candidate Requirements:
Years of Experience Required: More than 8 overall years of experience in the field.
Degrees or certifications required: A degree in marketing or communication would be preferred but not required if they have high level job experience.
Disqualifiers: Candidates that are job hopping will not be eligible for the role.
Best vs. Average: The ideal candidate will be creative and can create expert level Power Points. Marketing storytelling experience.
Experience with AI imagine generators and graphic design would be ideal.
The ideal candidate would also have excellent communication skills and excellent written communication.
Any experience working in legal or regulatory environments would be great but not necessary.
Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
1. Minimum 8 years experience with storytelling.
2. Minimum 8 years experience of creating senior level PowerPoint videos.
3. Minimum 8 years experience with project management (to ensure the sponsor can give them work and they will be able to complete the work).
