Project/Production Manager at Ferguson Builders:
- Starting from $75,000 to 130,000 Annually.
- Job Type: Full Time, 40-50+ hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- In-Office and In-Field with some travel.

Who We Are Looking For?
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project/Production Manager with a solid background in project management, leadership, problem-solving, time management, and effective communication to join our team!
In this role, you'll excel at planning and preparing well in advance to ensure that the team and company meet annual, short-term, and long-term production goals. You are passionate about leading and developing people, consistently meeting deadlines, creating processes to enhance efficiency, and excelling in strategic planning.
You’re dedicated to ongoing learning and enthusiastic about broadening your knowledge in this position. You see constructive feedback as a means for personal and professional development and look for opportunities to enhance processes, making the company an even better workplace.
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- 5+ years managing teams in residential construction project/production management.
- Proficient with management software, Microsoft Office, and Google products.
- Effective communication (verbal, written, and presentations).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, deadline-focused, and detail-oriented.
- High integrity and confidentiality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Available to work 40-50+ hours/week.
- Preferred: 10+ years of in-field construction experience.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage production scheduling, processes, and team meetings.
- Manage projects effectively.
- Ensure jobs are scheduled and completed on time.
- Set and track realistic weekly and monthly team goals.
- Maintain daily logs for client visibility.
- Prioritize tasks and assign work to team members or trade partners.
- Prepare job sites, including materials, permits, and trade partner hiring.
- Assign projects based on job type/size and safety protocols.
- Oversee quality, troubleshoot site issues, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Develop processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage budgets and foster relationships with clients, teams, and tradesmen.
- Hire, train, and evaluate team members.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, equipment, warehouse shop, yard, and lawn.
- Active on the leadership team.
Your First 90 Days:
All roles begin with a 90-day employment agreement. We start with this to confirm we’re a great fit for each other. Our onboarding period provides extensive training and feedback while you learn the ins and outs of the role. At the end of 90 days, if we’re both feeling great about it, we’ll extend a new employment agreement for a permanent position on the team.
