Project Procurement Manager - Climeworks

• Your mission at Climeworks is to support us to implement contracting processes to deliver multi-million projects able to contribute to the reduction/elimination of CO2 to fight global warming.
• You define, develop and implement the most suitable Contracting Strategy related to a Project Procurement Plan to ensure medium/long term business strategy and Company goals are met.
• You ensure the optimization of supply of goods and services in a cost-effective manner within defined operational timescales.
• You manage Invitations to Tender, evaluation of quotations and the recommendation of award, all within procurement procedures and local regulation.
• You follow up clarifications meetings with contractors to align terms and conditions (unpriced evaluation)
• You conduct commercial evaluations to define tender winner according to defined awarding criteria (lower bidder/most advantageous offer/total cost of ownership)
• You develop key sourcing activities, ensuring equipment and service availability to meet company goals while minimizing risk.
• You create and own the strategic relationship with suppliers and internal stakeholders while building collaboration within and across organizational boundaries
• You set challenging targets of savings in any procurement process with the aim to reduce the total cost of ownership
• You participate in high level negotiations with key Contractors.
• You develop and continually improve contract templates in alignment with internal stakeholders (e.g., align requirements for new services / align terms with finance, tax, legal)
• You contribute to update/generate procurement procedures/operative instruction according to the procurement best practices and past experiences.

• You hold a master's degree in an engineering discipline or related field.
• You have at least 10 years of experience, preferably in Construction or withindustrial environmental projects.
• You acquiredknowledge of procurement/commercial strategy definition and implementation, particularlyin Project procurement.
• You can build positive working relationships with the stakeholders.
• Your focus is on achieving results that further Climeworks' mission.
• You are a highly motivated self-starter who has the ability to prioritize well.
• You are proficient in English, and your excellent communication skills set you apart.
• You are willing to travel up to 20%.
