We’re now hiring a Project and Process Technician role at Victoriaville & Co in Twinsburg, OH!
Victoriaville & Co. is a Canadian family-owned company who has been in the funeral business for four generations. We are now the most important casket manufacturer in Canada, and 3rd in North America. Our growth and expansion in the American market brings us to invest in a new manufacturing plant and a commemorative products distribution center in the USA. You will be working on implementing projects and processes at the manufacturing facility. You will be working with other technical professionals at our plant including the maintenance team and computerized equipment operators. You will be working alongside our sister facilities in Canada to introduce new products to manufacturing, develop corrective and preventative maintenance plans, and to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency. You will be involved with developing training for new equipment and interacting with internal customers and suppliers / contractors. This role reports to the Plant Manager.
Perks of working as a Project and Process Technician:
Pay: $55,000 to $65,000 depending on experience

Typical day in the life as a Project and Process Technician:
- Create and modify process and quality work instructions for assembly operations
- Create and update engineering schematics & plant layout drawings using Solidworks
- Create and maintain technical documents and preventative maintenance plans that support engineering and manufacturing
- Provide technical support for manufacturing team with maintenance personnel including motors, conveyor systems, safety systems and wood processing production equipment
- Help develop and create fixtures, jigs and tools that aid the manufacturing team in consistently producing products – this will involve working with internal maintenance and external fabrication resources
- Manage projects for installing new equipment and increasing production capabilities – working with internal and external resources
- Work closely with the maintenance team to assure peak equipment performance
- Work closely with experienced manufacturing and technical teammates at two other Victoriaville locations in Canada
- Work with manufacturing team to train and coach new teammates
- Maintain a clean and efficient work area
What are we looking for?
- 1-2 years’ experience as a process technician
- Experience in AutoCad and / or Solidworks is a high priority.
- Lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds on occasion.
- Travel to suppliers and customers a few times per year.
- Be standing multiple hours per day.
- Able to use appropriate personal protective equipment. Safety glasses. Hearing protection and steel-toed shoes.
