Project Manager – Portfolio Administration - 49059 - PRIMUS Global Services, Inc

We have an immediate long-term opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to work within our clients PMO organization supporting IT Project Managers across the enterprise in project budgeting, financial forecasting, schedule management, quality and IT project auditing.

Among other skills and experience, this position requires:

• Hands-on IT program and project management experience at the PMO level, including hands-on project financial management experience from project initiation to implementation using formal project management methodologies and processes.
• Extensive experience in developing financial aspects of portfolio capital and operating plans and forecasts, to include accrual management.
• A high-level of proficiency using Microsoft Project and Excel
• A background in training project managers on project management best practices as defined in Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK).
• PMP certification and undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration/Management.
• Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
• An advanced level degree (MBA) is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written skills are needed in addition to an ability to work across the stakeholder community including senior management.
