• Project Management
  • Oversee all phases of heavy civil construction projects, including planning, execution, and closeout.
  • Manage a portfolio of projects totaling $7M-$10M in revenue, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Supervise self-performing teams and manage subcontractor coordination as necessary.
  • Collaborate with superintendents on-site to ensure progress aligns with project objectives and safety protocols.
  • Maintain and update project schedules, budgets, and quality control measures.
• Leadership and Communication
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering regular updates and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Meet with superintendents and field teams to resolve challenges and drive progress.
  • Foster a team-oriented culture that promotes accountability and excellence.
• Technical Expertise
  • Utilize construction management software to streamline operations and reporting.
  • Leverage knowledge of equipment operations and site work to guide decision-making and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Provide innovative solutions to challenges in heavy civil site work, including excavation, grading, and utility installations.
• Safety and Compliance
  • Ensure all work adheres to OSHA standards, company policies, and industry regulations.
  • Promote and enforce a culture of safety on every job site.

• Experience and Skills:
  • 8+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in heavy civil construction.
  • Strong knowledge of site work, grading, excavation, and utility installations.
  • Experience managing self-performing crews and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
  • OSHA 10-hour certification required; higher certifications are preferred.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and scheduling tools.
  • Technical expertise in operating and understanding heavy machinery is beneficial.
• Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
  • Tech-savvy and adept at using project management tools for planning and reporting.
• Additional Requirements:
