Job Details
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related discipline or relevant work experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager within the Construction Industry
- Experience with projects $5M+ projects - tenant fit outs, medical, retail, office, mixed use, datacenters and life science projects
- Actively participates in all preconstruction services and engineering sessions by reviewing Owner's expectations/criteria, coordinates with design team and owner and reviews design documents
- Responsible for estimating and running the projects, including writing scopes of work
- Review and approve bid packages, schedules, and help create site utilization plan.
- Conducts pre-bid conferences, identifies project staffing requirements, and provides value engineering ideas
- Manages project financials and maintains continuous knowledge of project budget.
- Strong computer skills including familiarity with construction project management applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills are required including, but not limited to coaching, mentoring and the ability to build and maintain motivated teams
- Highly developed project management finance skills are required
