Job Details
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the completion of reports and studies including hydrogeologic conceptual models, water balances, numerical model development, and SGMA-compliant groundwater sustainability plans.
- Groundwater well design, construction, and testing.
- Water supply strategies, integrated plans.
- Hydrogeologic conceptual models, water balances, numerical model development, and SGMA-compliant groundwater sustainability plans.
- Water supply assessments and urban water management plans.
- Water supply strategies, integrated plans, water transfers, and water conservation programs.
- Effectively communicate with clients on technical matters and project progress, ensuring clarity and satisfaction.
- Develop and manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely delivery within scope and resources.
- Oversee and mentor junior staff in technical tasks to support project completion.
- Implement California groundwater and water planning regulations, including SGMA, Urban Water Management Planning Act, and Senate Bill 610 requirements.
- Leading cross-functional project teams by assembling, overseeing, and offering technical guidance.
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering; Hydrology, Geology, or related field.
- PE license in California is preferred.
- 7 to 15 years of experience in performing/managing water, wastewater, recycled water, and/or stormwater infrastructure projects.
- Experience implementing California groundwater and water planning regulations, including SGMA, Urban Water Management Planning Act, and/or Senate Bill 610 requirements.
- Strong technical background related to groundwater scheduling, budget tracking, deliverables, and progress reports.
- ArcGIS, AutoCAD and Civil 3D highly preferred.
- Experience in providing technical and project leadership to junior engineering staff.
