Project Manager - FedWriters, Inc.

FedWriters is building a team to develop and maintain best-in-class websites and web infrastructure for the Department of Transportation. As a Project Manager, you will plan, execute, and deliver web development projects while ensuring quality and adherence to federal standards for DOT's mission-critical external websites.

**This position is contingent upon contract award**

Work Schedule and Location:

On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm in Washington, DC.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and documentation
• Monitor project progress, schedules, and deliverables
• Lead project meetings and status updates with stakeholders
• Manage scope, timeline, and budget for web development projects
• Coordinate with development teams and technical resources
• Prepare project status reports and performance metrics
• Implement project management best practices and standards
• Identify and mitigate project risks
• Ensure quality assurance standards are met
• Support project closeout and documentation activities

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Experience managing web development and IT infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of web development lifecycle and methodologies
• Understanding of federal IT project management requirements
• Experience with quality assurance and testing processes
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Strong stakeholder management experience
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
• Experience with project management tools and documentation
