Job Title: Project Manager
Reports to: Production Manager
Primary Focus: The Project Manager's key functions are 1) to assist in accurately costing prospective projects being bid on, and 2) managing field, supporting, and administrative needs of accepted projects to ensure timely completion and maximize profit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist sales team in generating effective and highly competitive proposals.
- Critically review RFP's, construction contracts, scopes of work, and technical documentation for accuracy, feasibility, and administration during related projects.
- Manage all aspects of delivering completed projects on time and at or under budget.
- Assume responsibility for ensuring high quality of all work performed.
- Work with the Production Manager to create, document, and train operations team members on departmental processes.
- Develop awareness of applicable Federal, state, and local codes and laws pertaining to projects being bid and completed; ensure compliance during the construction phase of each.
- Aid in identifying and adopting best practices.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with CRS's growing network of customers, contractors, subcontractors, service providers and product vendors.
- Complete other duties and tasks as assigned.
Preferred Education, Background & Skills:
- College degree in Project Management, Construction Management, and/or Civil Engineering or equivalent experience in field.
- Experience in or with trades (excavation, utilities, grading, etc.)
- Ability to review and understand blueprints, construction plans, engineer's drawings, site plans, and diagrams.
- Knowledge of commercial, institutional, and governmental procurement processes, along with imbedded decision making and control processes
- Advanced level skills with business and productivity software (Email, Word Processing, Spread Sheets, etc.) are essential to conduct general business tasks.
- Possess a valid driver's license, good driving history, and dependable transportation.

- Above average problem-solving aptitude and skills.
- Certified Pool Operator and/or Certified Playground Safety Inspector a plus.
- PMP certification a plus
Physical/Environmental Requirements:
Physical Activities: | Able to meet all physical requirements of routine office work and occasional job site visits and work. |

- This position is classified as Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and not subject to the requirements for payment for any hours worked in excess of 40 in a week (overtime). This position is expected to occasionally require hours in excess of 40 hours per week during seasonal needs, for business related travel or if related to a special project.
