Here at US Human Appeal, we have an exciting opportunity for a US Project Manager to join our team, based in our Dallas office. You will join us on a full-time basis for an initial 1-year fixed term contract with a view to progressing into a permanent position. In return, you will receive a competitive salary.

As US Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, managing, implementing and evaluating complex projects within our organization. Overseeing projects of significant size, scope, and complexity, often involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Collaborating closely with senior management across the organization to ensure alignment with the organization’s strategies and goals. Expertise in project management methodologies, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement will be instrumental in achieving project objectives and contributing to the overall success of the organization and it’s mission. We are ideally looking to appoint somebody immediately to this role.

Some of the Key duties and responsibilities of the US Project Manager :
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Define project scope, goals, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Lead and manage project teams, including staff, volunteers, and external contractors.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment to maximize productivity and engagement.
- Develop project budgets and track expenses throughout the project lifecycle
- Build and maintain positive relationships with external partners and community stakeholders to enhance project effectiveness and sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies to mitigate legal and reputational risks.
- Establish mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating project performance against predefined metrics and goals.
- Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and lessons learned.
- Use evaluation findings to inform decision-making, improve project effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement.
What we’re looking for in our US Project Manager:
- Ideally degree educated in a relevant field, such as Business Administration or Project Management, or qualified by experience.
- Project Management qualification /Certification is desirable.
- Proven experience in project management within a related field.
- Experience in project management principles, methods, processes and tools.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools. E.g. Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello and Microsfot Office Suite.
- Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
- Passionate and knowledgeable about the international development field

Our Greatest Achievements Include:
• Safeguarding bright futures for more than 22,000 vulnerable orphans in 9 countries. Our one-to-one sponsorship programme has a built-in school attendance requirement while covering the cost of food, housing, medical care, and learning materials
• Pioneering technologically innovative infrastructure projects in Pakistan, like designing and building a 25-km embankment on the Chenab River in Pakistan.
