Project Manager at The Evolvers Group

We are seeking an experienced project manager to join the Application & Client Services team.

Required Experience:

• Experience managing a variety of projects, including requests for proposals (RFPs), contract/scope development, infrastructure upgrades, application enhancements, and new development, and implementation of COTS/vendor applications with multiple integrations, and Agile technologies.
• High level of understanding in the areas of project management methodology, web application programming, content management systems, API, database, and system design.
• Experience with Identification of the technical approach to be used on a given project and manage the system development process.
• Potential areas of assignment with duties described above: Public Safety, Water Resources Commissioner, and Assessing & Taxation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including developers, product owners, and subject matter experts.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and interact at all levels.
• Must be flexible and able to meet deadlines set by internal and external agencies to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.
• Desire a hands-on, self-starter, and team player possessing both technical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage scope throughout the project duration; manage project tasks with team members, correlate work to a work breakdown structure, and ensure team members track time appropriately to projects.
• Manage tasks and resources related to support, maintenance, and enhancements of existing applications, where applicable.
• Advocate for change and effectively communicate project value, including navigating individual viewpoints and building consensus.
