Join our dynamic team as a Project Manager for Transit Construction and be part of reshaping the landscape of our cities. You will play a pivotal role in managing the intricacies of transit construction projects, from the initial planning stages to the final execution. Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager for Transit Construction, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management from initiation to completion.
2. Leading and managing the planning, design, and construction of transit construction projects.
3. Coordinating with various stakeholders including engineers, architects, contractors, and local authorities.
4. Ensuring the projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
5. Identifying potential project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
6. Managing project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
7. Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
8. Providing regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
9. Resolving project-related issues and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
10. Fostering a positive team environment and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in construction management, specifically in transit construction and rail construction.
3. Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex construction projects from inception to completion.
4. Solid understanding of construction processes, methods, and procedures.
5. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong decision-making skills.
7. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
8. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
11. PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
