Project Manager - Transit - Gpac

Currently seeking a Transporation Project Manager

Location: Colorado Spring,

General Background: Senior transportation engineer, with federal Transit Administration (FTA), Federal Highway administration (FHWA), Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) or like experience.

Qualifications and Experience

1. Ten or more (10+) years' experience providing project management services in a civil engineering or related field. (May be able to consider 5 years with right experience)
2. Currently licensed and in good standing as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State or Colorado or obtain reciprocity for PE in Colorado within three (3) months of contract award.
3. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred; other PMI or industry certifications are also desirable.
4. Experience delivering projects with federal funding. Preferred experience with FTA, FHWA, and COOT requirements.
5. Thorough understanding of the FTA NEPA processes and demonstrated experience obtaining environmental clearances.
6. Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders on complex transportation projects.
7. Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with an understanding of modes of communication and preparation of materials given the audience.
8. Strong coordination skills working with consultants, contractors, stakeholders, and client/sponsor staff.
