We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work on local projects, with top dollar compensation for the right candidate. This is a full-time position where you will be in charge of overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Project Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing all aspects of project planning, execution, and completion for all assigned projects.
2. Coordinating with all relevant stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
3. Ensuring project compliance with all industry standards and regulations.
4. Monitoring project progress and making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
5. Providing regular updates to senior management on project status.
6. Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues that could impact project delivery.
7. Developing and implementing project management strategies and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
8. Managing project resources, including budget and personnel.
9. Ensuring quality control throughout the project’s life cycle.
10. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Project Manager position, candidates must possess the following:
1. A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry, with a focus on electrical work.
2. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
3. Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering construction projects on time and within budget.
4. Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety protocols.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
7. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
8. Proficiency in project management software.
9. A PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
10. Ability to travel to local project sites as needed.
