We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on a variety of local projects with a competitive salary package. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing construction projects from conception to completion, with a keen eye for quality and a steadfast commitment to delivering on time and within budget. Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Managing and overseeing all aspects of project development, from planning to implementation.
2. Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors.
3. Ensuring all projects are delivered on-time, within budget, and meet high quality standards.
4. Negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
5. Obtaining necessary permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
6. Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
7. Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
8. Coordinating with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
9. Analyzing, managing, and mitigating risks.
10. Ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role within the construction industry.
2. Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
3. Proven experience in project management and the ability to lead a project from conception to completion.
4. Extensive previous work experience managing budgets for construction projects.
5. Excellent knowledge of construction project management software such as Procore or similar.
6. Advanced understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
7. Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
8. Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills.
9. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
10. PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an advantage.
