We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Project Manager to join our dynamic construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all demolition activities on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on time. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale demolition projects, with experience in concrete, road, and highway construction.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of demolition projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all demolition activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
- Manage and supervise demolition crews, ensuring that they are properly trained and equipped to carry out their duties.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and best practices, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper disposal of hazardous materials.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and other stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets and ensure that all demolition activities are carried out within budgetary constraints.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed to their satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Civil Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of demolition techniques and equipment, with experience in concrete, road, and highway construction.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices, with experience in developing and implementing safety programs.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
