Job Title: Structural Steel Fabrication Project Manager
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Steel Fabrication Project Manager to oversee our projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating the fabrication of structural steel elements, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:

Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets in coordination with clients, engineers, and subcontractors.

Resource Management: Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely acquisition of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services required for fabrication and erection activities.

Team Leadership: Lead and manage fabrication and erection teams, providing direction, support, and motivation to ensure project goals are met efficiently and effectively.

Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the fabrication and erection process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all project personnel.

Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Conflict Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the course of the project, minimizing disruptions and delays.

Financial Management: Monitor project budgets, expenses, and profitability, making adjustments as necessary to ensure projects remain financially viable.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and other relevant records.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements, implementing best practices to optimize project outcomes.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in project management within the structural steel fabrication or erection industry.

Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and/or erection processes, techniques, and best practices.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.

Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.

Thorough knowledge of relevant industry regulations and safety standards.
