Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and report on various initiatives and projects including logging and tracking risks and issues, posting project charters, maintaining project work plans, and managing various projects and initiatives.
- Manage day to day communications with the client via the formal correspondence process and ensure deliverables and key performance requirements are reported to the client timely and accurately.
- Responsible for project knowledge regarding all Key Performance Requirements (KPRs), tracking performance, and reporting to the client.
- Work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
- Follow processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Act as advisor to direct reports to resolve problems and progress projects.
- Develop and administer schedules, budgets, performance requirements.
- Recommend changes to policies and establish procedures that affect immediate organizations.
- Create and maintain project documentation, including the project schedule and workplan.
- Present updates at internal and external stakeholder meetings.
- Ensure project activities are delivered on time.
- Vocalize and track risks and issues negatively impacting project outcomes.
- Work with Subject Matter Experts in the areas of systems, reporting, call centers, mail house, and creation of education and outreach material.
- Ability to complete multiple tasks related to the implementation of new and expansion of existing projects.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.
- PMP certification is required. (If not already achieved, the expectation is to obtain in the first 4 months of employment.)
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Advanced MS Project, Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Able to manage others through influence (as opposed to having direct reports).
- Project implementation experience.
- SmartSheet and Visio experience (or similar).
- Experience with both operational and technical projects.
- Able to succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced, and deadline driven work environment.
- Government / healthcare / human services industry experience preferred.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
