Solar X LLC is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Manager / Service Manager to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of our solar and electrical service projects. This role is client-facing, requiring exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to ensure the successful execution of projects, compliance with safety regulations, and the highest level of client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technicians, engineers, and support staff.
- Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence among team members.
Project Management:
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of solar and electrical projects, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
Client Relations:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing updates, feedback, and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Maintain strong relationships to ensure repeat business and client satisfaction.
Resource and Cost Management:
- Monitor labor, materials, and equipment allocation to optimize efficiency.
- Manage project budgets and control expenses, ensuring cost-effective operations.
Quality Assurance and Safety:
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with safety protocols, electrical regulations, and project specifications.
- Uphold the highest standards of quality and safety across all projects.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency and project success.

The ideal candidate should possess:

Minimum Experience: At least 3 years of experience in solar or electrical project management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong knowledge of solar and electrical systems, safety protocols, and relevant regulations.
Proficient in project management tools and software.
PMP Certification or similar is highly preferred.
Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and client-facing communication skills.
Must reside in New Jersey and commute to the office Monday through Friday.

Schedule:

Full-time
Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays)

Work Location:

Onsite at Farmingdale, NJ office. must be able to commute to office every day.
