Job DescriptionJOB DUTIES (Detailed Statement of Duties and Responsibilities):Manage the day-to-day activities of Development Team focused on supporting EHS CTO Integration and Shared services – Virtual Data Power, Web Services, Messaging Services. Plan and execute migration of Shared Services to AWS Public Cloud. Plan and Execute the migration of applications to latest Oracle Database Versions.Work with EHS wide IT and business stakeholders to develop an operational plan with detailed milestones and activities. Plan and communicate maintenance / upgrades / patches to all interested parties.Establish priorities and schedule resources to meet business needs.Manage and lead application development and maintenance projects directly and in a matrix environment through a project management capacity.Perform project management role for small to mid-size projects; COTS and vendor management.Ensure all EHS IT PMO processes are followed. Ensure that projects are completed according to product specifications and are properly documented.Facilitate communication upward and across project teams including; project status, cost information, justifications for variances and technical information (architecture, design and implementation objectives).Ensure software development lifecycle and standards are followed within the team.Manage the prioritization, analysis, design, code and deployment of production changes.Provide appropriate documentation and knowledge transfer to the Middleware Operations TeamCoordinate deployment of application changes to production environment using appropriate change and release management processes.Providing operational support for the service in Production and other key environments.Work with Incident/Change Management teams on System Outages. Participate in audit compliance efforts within the organization.Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
REQUIRED SKILLS (Special Skill Set, Abilities, Knowledge):Proven vendor management capabilities and resource management abilities.Ability to understand, support and communicate senior management goals and decisions.Expert knowledge of information systems with a focus on application development, support and package installation.A good understanding of EHS IT infrastructure and general understanding of Private and Public CloudsAbility to manage and motivate people to get the most out of their abilities.Proficient at problem identification and resolution, defining and managing business requirements.Strong intellectual curiosity and capacity for professional growth.Ability to effectively communicate, both oral and written, with various project stakeholders including IT leadership, business customers, team members, and other IT colleagues.Demonstrated experience of successful management of development and deployment of IT projects that meet business requirements.Experience working with Government Agencies, Health Care Applications, Enterprise Services.Knowledge of, and experience with J2EE development in a SOA environment.Knowledge of, and experience with operations support for high-availability applications.Experience with Production Support, Triage production issues, generate Incident Reports etcAbility to multi-task and flexibly adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Experience with and preparing project documentation such as detailed requirements.Proficiency with MS Project.Proficiency with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook, and PowerPoint.QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Years' Experience, Certificates):Undergraduate degree or higher in Information Technology / Computer Science or a related field.Minimum (5) five years of extensive hands-on experience with project management as a project manager of a critical and high-visibility project.Minimum (10) ten years of IT experience in one or more technical roles.Minimum (5) five years of Team Lead experience with 5+ resourcesProject Management Professional (PMP) CertificationAbout Kyyba:Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Farmington Hills, MI, Kyyba has a global presence delivering high-quality resources and top-notch recruiting services, enabling businesses to effectively respond to organizational changes and technological advances.At Kyyba, the overall well-being of our employees and their families is important to us.
