Project Manager – Senior
Location: Mclean, VA
Duration: 9 months
Description:
As a Contractor in the Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DIB), you will bring your deep passion for DIB topics along with your experience driving impact on various talent topics to help advance the DIB agenda for Tech.
You will apply strategic, analytical, project management, communications and storytelling skills and collaborate with a cross-functional group of HR and Business partners to solve complex, open-ended questions about how we should attract, develop, grow, and retain top diverse talent while working closely with the same stakeholder groups to think through ways to deliver the interventions.
General Responsibilities:
Develop and/or Improve processes and have the ability to socialize the new or changed processes
Develop and revise governance and process documentation
Draft and review communications, applications, etc.
Review of Data Requests, create pivots, vlookups, and securely share data as approved
External and Internal Interaction Model development and implementation
Project/Meeting Management including scheduling, taking notes, assigning follow-ups and following up, Track milestones and hold project team accountability in meeting said milestones etc.
Event calendar creation and management
Collaborate with partners to proactively infuse DIB best practices into key processes
Deliver DIB projects and initiatives from start to finish, while providing regular progress updates to team leaders and stakeholders
Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks
Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, and/or raise impediments to ensure that project requirements can be met
Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan
Selected Candidate Will:
Have a track record of successful program management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage tasks and related expectations
Display understanding and alignment with DIB initiatives
Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes
Demonstrate good judgment and sensitivity
Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Basic "Must Have" Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in a project management OR a delivery role
At least 1 year of experience in HR or a chief of staff position
Proficiency in written communication to senior management
G-Suite proficiency; heavy slide building and strong proficiency in Google Sheets
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
At least 2 years of experience working with agile teams or project management
Experience partnering with teams across Enterprise, Learning, Communications, HR Consulting, etc
PMP or CSM certification
At least 5 years of experience in qualitative analysis
At least 5 years of experience in quantitative analysis
