Job Title: Project Manager / Scrum Master – Enterprise PMO
Location: Minneapolis, MN (Onsite 3 days/week - Local candidates only)
Start Date: ASAP Duration: Now – December 31, 2024
Hours/Week: 40 hours 
Rate: $60 - $70/hour based on experience
Contract Type: W2 Only (No 1099’s or Corp to Corp) 

Scope of Services:

• This role is within the company’s Enterprise PMO and will lead cross-functional agile teams delivering enhancements across multiple financial services systems
• Facilitate agile process (Standups, Sprint Planning, Demo’s, Retro’s, Monitoring Metrics, etc)
• Lead team in delivery of features that meet business needs on-time and within budget
• Coach team and individuals to build and maintain high performing teams
• Manage the budget and forecasting
• Create and maintain plan in MS Project Server; includes budget & forecasting, accruals, invoice mapping, and ensuring resources have appropriate time tracking buckets setup to bill time. Project Server is our core resource planning and financial management tool for both projects and agile teams.
• Perform plan & forecast analysis to identify critical path and resource issues
• Partner with product owners and the teams in creating a communication plan that includes both internal and external project communication, meetings, and documentation/reporting requirements
• Partner with functional resource managers to ensure work efforts are effectively resourced
• Follow company release management process to schedule and manage code releases
• Monitor progress of deliverables, quality, proactively identifying risks, issues and escalation as needed with appropriate leadership
• Interface with stakeholders to manage expectations
• Manage project documentation following company standards (i.e. Team Working Agreement, Agile Release Report, Status Reports, meeting minutes, risks, issues, decisions)
• Assure compliance with company delivery processes and standards

Knowledge, Skill & Competency Requirements:

• Broad delivery management knowledge and experience spanning traditional project management methodologies in addition to agile practices – adaptability is key
• Must have experience managing agile scrum teams
• Demonstrated communication and influencing skills
• Knowledge and understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
• Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Project Server
• Experience in formal techniques of risk management
• Excellent organizational skills
• Experience with agile backlog management tools (Jira, Azure Boards, Polarian, etc)
• Experience working closely with business stakeholders and managing expectations
• Excellent relationship management skills
• Experience in change management
• Financial and Insurance Product Industry Experience is a plus

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of IT delivery management experience
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile delivery training preferred
• PMP certification or other formal project management training preferred
