Project Manager/Scrum Master

The Scrum Master's primary role is to help the Consumer Applications' project delivery teams and/or Product Owners to work more effectively. With a focus on continuous improvement, the Scrum Master will work closely with the with various teams, leading the production support and enhancement of customer-facing digital products. Responsibilities will include the following:
- Serve as both a Project Manager and Scrum Master.
- Facilitate the SAFe Agile workflow: Sprint reviews, Sprint Retrospective, Sprint Planning, project approval, and other events.
- Assemble project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts daily, identifying resource needs, performing quality reviews; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
- Ensure on time delivery of projects and related business objectives.
- Assess project status and proactively manage changes in scope and priorities throughout the project.
- Work with the Value Stream to engage key stakeholders to both gain and provide understanding of cross-dependencies.
- Provide support on issues and questions from stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication and gain commitment between business and IT units to align solutions with business strategies.
- Develop materials to support change management efforts, in collaboration with Transformation Office.
Required Skills and Expertise:
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience serving as a Project Manager/Scrum Master with a stronger emphasis on Project Management.
- Bachelor's degree or requisite experience, training, or coursework in agile development, innovation, and process management.
- Looking for a highly skilled, polished Project Manager who can work independently.
- Experience in Digital Transformation is highly preferred.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, etc.)
- Ability to lead and influence at all levels, without direct authority.
- Experience with large enterprise projects
- Must be able to hit the ground running, independent.
- Experience working with Agency Vendors
- SAFe Agile experience and/or certification
- Strong budgeting experience
- Ability to manage ambiguity in a rapidly changing and high-paced environment.
- Ability to coach and mentor team and organization on agile practices.
- Possess strong problem solving, communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Recognize when commitments are at risk, identify impediments and remove roadblocks to enable team to meet their commitments.
- Enable continuous improvement through data-driven decisions and observation
Salary
80,000 - 110,000 /year
