Project Manager
The #1 mission for this role may be summarized as follows:
Support the development, communication, budgeting, execution of scope, and schedules for coDesign projects.
Priority #1 – Guarantee top quality and a happy client at project completion.
Priority #2 - Ensure handover margins are maintained or improved. No slippage.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
- Fully understand and execute contracted scope or work with adherence to the agreed upon governing terms & conditions set forth in project agreement.
- Fully understand authority having jurisdiction, compliance requirements, and maintain adherence.
- Supporting Business Development and Preconstruction Department efforts. This includes reviewing preliminary drawings sets, budgets and schedule peer review.
- Execute project delivery strategy and manage timely + cost-effective installation of contracted work.
- Maintain client, subcontractor, and stakeholder relations.
- Mitigate risk and ensure overall project and site safety. Develop and maintain safety operating procedures.
- Measure and monitor field productivity (including QC per trade).
- Contribute/lead in problem & conflict resolution activities (i.e., disputes, mistakes, changing conditions, etc.)
- Expert understanding, use, and maintenance of current company tools & techniques (i.e. software, organizational processes, standards, & policies).
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Management of the following:
- Job scheduling
- Procurement
- Assessment of construction risk and opportunity
- Project specific insurance
- Attend job site meetings and record Meeting Minutes as required
- Change orders, RFIs and back charges
- Project billings
- Project reporting (Procore)
- Manage project profitability
- Coordinate install team/s
- Manage punch list and close out documentation
SITE MANAGEMENT
On site management of the following:
- Client relationship during construction
- Subcontractor scheduling, mobilization, and on-site security
- Quality control
- Health and safety policy implementation
- Management of site superintendent & supporting project staff
SITE MANAGEMENT
- Host daily and weekly project meetings as needed
- Attend weekly 1 to 1meeting with manager
- Regular subcontractor performance meetings
- Participate in regular (usually monthly) project profitability meetings
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 to 7+ years construction experience
- Self-directed with a high-level of initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of project scope, construction drawings, specifications, submittals, etc.
- Effective coordination across multiple trades and disciplinaries to ensure measurable results
- Familiarity with office design workflows, construction / building codes, and office furniture systems

- Computer & software proficiency (Microsoft Office, MS Projects, Procore, BlueBeam, etc.). Software is subject to change and update over time
Language: fluent English
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Ability to work additional hours as needed to support team and meet customer expectations is expected from time-to-time. This position is expected to travel to project jobsites.
