Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including all administrative tasks and site activities.
- Oversee the preparation of budgets, bids, and contracts, and manage the procurement of materials and equipment.
- Implement cost control measures to ensure projects operate within budget.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
- Lead and motivate a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
- Resolve any project-related issues, risks, or disputes in a timely and effective manner.
- Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and team members.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on large-scale commercial or industrial projects.
- Proven expertise in budgeting, scheduling, cost control, strategic planning, team leadership, negotiation, construction estimating, and blueprint reading.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
- Professional Project Management (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be able to travel to project sites as needed.
