About the Job
We are seeking a Project Manager for the Project Delivery Department.
The primary responsibility of the Project Manager is to provide Credit Human Project Sponsors services in effectively planning and managing the initiation, planning, execution and closing of systems solutions in support of strategic business objectives and ongoing operations. The incumbent in this position will be responsible for ensuring excellence and consistency in project and vendor management while ensuring that projects are implemented according to credit union standards, policies, and procedures. This role focuses on problem-solving, planning, and executing the plans to meet project objectives; while ensuring compliance with existing processes and balancing the four constraints: time, cost, resources, and quality. The collaborative element of the work involves cooperating with colleagues by sharing experience, knowledge, and understanding of the purpose of the project management organization and the broader organization. The creativity of the work involves carefully listening to the unspoken and spoken needs of the client and the project team and looking for a fresh approach to determine what approach will yield optimum benefits.

Highlights:
- Analyzing current project landscape to determine, document and articulate project definition and scope to include assumptions, risks, constraints and high-level milestones and timeline
- Analyzing historical project information to identify products, services and stakeholders impacted or needed
- Assessing all deviations from base-lined project schedule, requirements and scope for impact to time, costs and quality, including production of change control documentation to present solid recommendation for change
- Managing and reporting on budget for hardware, software and professional services as required by the project, including production of change control documentation for variances exceeding base-lined budget
- Communicating effectively with Project Sponsor, Project Team, and Business Units
Experience:
Required
- 3 or more years of Project Management experience
- Proven experience and track record of driving technology driven initiatives that cross business lines, functions, and geographies
Preferred
- Experience in financial industry preferred
- Experience in systems integration
Education:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree required
Licenses & Certifications:
Required
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or ability to obtain within 12-months.
- Scrum Master (CSM) certification or ability to obtain within 12-months.
Preferred
- Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification
Skills & Knowledge:
Required
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent leadership and project management skills, with a proven ability to collaborate and communicate well with senior and mid-level management, as well as internal and external project resources
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of Project Management lifecycle and knowledge areas
- Solid facilitation and presentation skills to derive solutions for business needs
- Ability to prioritize and manage a variety of complex projects and activities
- Solid results-oriented track record with a strong focus on the customer (internal and external)
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of the Project Management Institute’s PMBOK
- Extensive experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, and Visio
- Knowledge of project budget creation and maintenance process
- Ability to rapidly resolve issues and realize when escalation is required
- Effective time management and prioritization skills
- Vendor management experience
- Excellent team building and decision-making skills
- High level of expertise in written and oral communications
- Ability to create executive-level project proposals and presentations
Preferred
- Knowledge of Information Technology fundamentals and concepts
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:30 pm
Salary Range: $82,117.00 to $90,451.00 Annually
Flexibility: In office, on site; not remote or hybrid
Level of Work: 2B
