PAY RANGE: $80,000-$90,000
General Responsibilities: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Flooring Project Manager/Sales professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial flooring, project management, and sales, demonstrating expertise in coordinating flooring projects from inception to completion. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of managing client relationships and driving sales growth.
Significant Duties:
- Project Management:
- Oversee all aspects of commercial flooring projects, from initial client consultation to project completion.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to understand project requirements and provide expert advice on flooring solutions.
- Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans to ensure successful project execution.
- Conduct on-site inspections to assess project progress and address any issues that may arise.
- Sales and Business Development:
- Actively seek new business opportunities and generate leads within the commercial flooring sector.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and bids to potential clients.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
- Product Knowledge and Industry Trends:
- Stay current with industry trends, flooring materials, and installation techniques.
- Provide clients with in-depth product knowledge, helping them make informed decisions based on their specific needs.
- Collaborate with suppliers to stay informed about the latest products and technologies in the commercial flooring market.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with project teams, including installers and subcontractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as estimating, procurement, and quality control to optimize project workflows.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Proven experience in commercial flooring project management and sales.
- Strong understanding of various flooring materials, installation methods, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in project management tools and software.
- Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of construction and building codes related to flooring installations.
