Responsible for managing all aspects of a project by means of people- contract- risk management, project preparation, execution and project controlling in line with applicable internal standards, procedures, systems and local legislation,
in order to ensure the project is executed and the deliverables are met in line with the agreed contract requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:Specific responsibilities include: build an efficient and effective project plan to direct project actions from mobilization, execution, demobilization, and project closing; manage, motivate, and support both operational field and office employees with the provided management tools and guidelines; prepare the project execution plan, initiating and managing both internal and external processes by setting up project organization in line with internal standards; guarantee timely and efficiently service of the solutions in line with the contract agreement and working budget; ensure operations execution comply with SHE-Q standards and procedures, and lead by example concerning safety awareness; assess and study the agreed contract of both customers and sub-contractors; lead and manage safety meetings, conducting workplace inspections and transferring information on safety alerts and other relevant topics; analyze the contract and critical risk awareness from project kick-off to close out; identify and manage contract scope changes both, internally and with customers; monitor all project related financial processes, identify potential risk areas, and take action to mitigate the main risks in line with the financial and risk management guidelines; provide insights regarding quantitative and qualitative developments by means of periodical and ad-hoc reports and analysis in line with reporting requirements; identify the project stakeholders, assessing their interest and influence in the project, and engage to harness the positive influences and minimize the effect of negative influences; and, develop a communication management plans to provide the right level of information to each group of stakeholders.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:Requires: Bachelor's degree in mechanical, civil, electrical of naval engineering, construction management or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus six (6) years of experience providing tech. support to and managing transportation and lifting projects in industries such as Petrochemical, Renewable Energy, Civil Infrastructure, Offshore (OCS & Northeast), and Nuclear plants. Specific skills/other requirements - Experience must include (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Developing full project executions and plans end to end, from a received sales order to the on-site execution; Familiarity with operational function and capacity of Heavylift Equipment including Cranes (600t to 1200t), SPMTs (Self Propelled Modular Transporters), Hydraulic Gantries and Barging (ballasting operations) for lifting and transportation operations; Developing operational budgets matching schedules based on a given scope of work for financial forecasting and budget management; Carrying out procurement processes within compliance rules in a multinational company environment; Analyzing contracts, defining risks and opportunities scenarios, and generating contract modifications/contractual disputes negotiations; Acting as point of contact for the client main representatives; Reading technical AUTOCAD drawings; Applying technical knowledge designing/planning operations to generate cost effective solutions for customers; and Developing and applying safety procedures to all project execution. Position requires 40-50% domestic and 5% international travel. Position is a telecommuting position and can be performed from anywhere in the U.S
