Role: Project Manager
Work Location: Rockville, MD - Hybrid
Contract: 6+ months. Must be Authorized to Work in the US for Any Employer.
Job Description:
We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful completion of projects from inception through final delivery. This includes adhering to goals, creating and managing project plans, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines. The Project Manager will support cross-functional teams, identify and manage risks, and ensure that project outcomes align with organizational objectives.
Required Experience
- 3-5 years of experience managing projects, preferably in healthcare/pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience and strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Experience demonstrating excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience and proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
- Experience demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Certification:
- PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning - Develop/Coordinate detailed project plans, outlining project goals, milestones, and tasks Establish and maintain timelines and schedules to ensure on-time delivery of projects.
- Collaboration - Ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments and with external partners.
- Risk Management & Problem Solving - Identify potential project risks and proactively develop mitigation plans. Monitor project progress and escalate issues promptly to keep the project on track. Provide regular updates on project status and identifying risks to stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Communication - Serve as the point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear, consistent, and timely communication. Conduct regular project status meetings and provide comprehensive reports to key stakeholders. Gather feedback to assess project alignment with expectations and to adjust plans as necessary. Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and align with organizational objectives. Evaluate completed projects to identify lessons learned and apply insights to future initiatives.
