Exponential Construction is seeking a highly capable Project Manager to lead our construction projects in Massachusetts. This role involves overseeing all phases of residential and commercial construction from planning to completion, with a strong focus on safety, adherence to budgets, and deadline commitments. - Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards.
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, inspections, and material deliveries to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle client communications, including collecting payments, submitting change orders, and maintaining strong relationships.
- Assist in the estimating and bidding process, accurately projecting costs and timelines.
- Document material orders and returns, meticulously tracking project resources.
- Ensure all projects comply with safety and building regulations, including OSHA and Lead Safety protocols.
- Actively participate in hands-on work, demonstrating techniques and leading by example to educate and motivate the team.
- Utilize CRM software, such as Job tread, to manage project details and customer interactions efficiently.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in construction, capable of independently managing projects from start to finish.
- Extensive knowledge of interior and exterior construction, including kitchens, baths, and whole house renovations.
- Experience with commercial construction projects, particularly cafes and restaurants; familiarity with ADA and health safety standards preferred.
- Proficient understanding of all MEPs and sub-trades, including roofing, framing, siding, windows, and doors.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to manage client expectations effectively.
- Bilingual abilities in Portuguese and/or Spanish are a MUST.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various project sites as needed.
- Proven experience as with extensive knowledge of construction processes, from project start through completion.
- Strong leadership ability, with demonstrated success managing teams and subcontractors.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is a significant plus.
- Thorough knowledge of legal issues and safety standards is essential.
- Proficient in MS Office, project management software, and other computer skills.
- Ability to plan and see the 'big picture,' manage time effectively, and multitask across projects.
- Competent in resolving escalated client scenarios.
- Leadership and human resources management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field, preferred.
