Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking a Project Manager to be based in Fresno, CA.
JOB SUMMARY:
Oversight for rail contracts so that quality, safety, schedule, and cost performance goals are met, which may include administration, facilitating communication between the Authority and contractors, and providing logistical support.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform administrative oversight of contractors in documenting delays and progress issues.
- Support activities include reviewing and providing recommendations on schedule de-risking, facilitating focus workshops on key issues such as submittal reviews and third-party interfaces.
- Coordinate and report Contractor’s performance and provide guidance and standardization for reporting consistency.
- Commence planning for construction railroad operations.
- Support the development of policies and procedures related to these contracts.
- Attend coordination meetings and stakeholder interface meetings.
- Adhere to established quality procedures and processes
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar relevant discipline
- 10 years of experience in managing the construction of large transportation infrastructure projects in positions of increasing responsibility, including extensive experience in the delivery of design-build projects.
- Proven ability to work with a wide range of disciplines connected with the successful completion of projects.
