Project Engineer

• Participating in project design, documentation preparation and tracking submittals, RFI's, schedule updates and project logs.
• Evaluating field problems, scheduling project meetings, and coordinating timely reviews by resolving onsite issues to increase overall margin on the project.
• Researching necessary building permits and timely submit applications; follow-up review process to ascertain and receive approval.
• Analyzing data such as engineering drawings, specifications, and purchase orders to understand scope of work for a project.
• Monitoring onsite and offsite construction activities to ensure compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Occasional chairing of weekly job meeting to submit project progress and pending issues to project manager.
