Project Manager / Project Engineer - OTAK INC

We’re seeking a Project Manager to manage plan reviews for critical utility and transportation projects, supporting the municipalities we serve. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to engage directly with projects at the client site in Salem, influencing major infrastructure initiatives, showcasing your expertise, and contributing to impactful urban development. What you'll do:

• Review and approve utility and transportation plan sets, ensuring they align with municipal standards and specifications.
• Manage and oversee plan reviews for both transportation and utility projects, acting as a central point of contact between Otak our public clients.
• Provide expert technical oversight and mentorship, utilizing your extensive experience to uphold the highest quality of plan reviews and project outcomes.
• Work closely with a diverse team, contributing to a broad array of municipal infrastructure projects that make a real difference in the community.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Minimum 6 years of project management or construction management experience, with a proven track record in plan review for utility and transportation projects.
• Experience with municipal infrastructure projects and public sector work is a significant plus.
• Excellent guidance and management capabilities with a knack for working self-sufficiently and making informed decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in an interdisciplinary team environment and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
