Givler Engineering, Inc. seeks a Project Manager/Project Engineer in San Antonio, Texas to lead stormwater and municipal engineering projects. This key role encompasses project management, budget management, client relationship management, and team mentorship. Candidates with 8+ years of experience in water resources engineering, or municipal engineering and essential software, and a commitment to excellence are ideal.
As a Project Manager/Project Engineer at Givler Engineering, Inc., you will play a crucial role in steering engineering projects to success, from the initial concept through to completion. Position Summary:
We are seeking a Project Manager/Project Engineer who is not only adept at managing drainage projects but is also a natural leader capable of inspiring and developing the skills of junior staff.
- Project Management: Manage stormwater design projects and staff teams, with a focus on high-quality execution and client satisfaction.
- Design Expertise: Design and Hydrologic / Hydraulic (H&H) Analysis of Storm Water Management Systems. Analysis of FEMA Designated Floodplains and processing of Flood Map Revisions. Project Management and Civil Site Design of Residential and Commercial Development Projects.
- Client Relationship Management: Actively contributes to retaining business for the organization by serving as the point of contact for existing clients and delivering quality work to ensure repeat business.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Lead stormwater design for various projects, mentor junior engineers, and support commercial and residential developments.
Secondary duties:
- Expert witness support.
- Ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Principal.
Minimum Requirements:
- Professionals with 8+ years of experience in project management and project engineering, demonstrating expertise in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, drainage facility design, and project management.
- Extensive experience in both private and public sector projects, particularly within Bexar County.
- Licensed Professional Civil Engineers in Texas.
- Exceptional communicator with proficiency in HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civil3D, capable of leading others and engaging with clients and stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and manage budgets effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
