Job Summary
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that the installation teams are effectively installing sold jobs in a timely and high quality manner, achieving targets set forth in the company Operational Plan (OP). This person oversees the functions of product installation including but not limited to; managing to safe practices, managing construction jobs, product and standards evaluation, enforcing quality standards, ensuring high quality installations and services, good communication and both troubleshooting and following up on issues to provide our customers with an outstanding retail experience.
One of the greatest challenges in this position is to manage the consistent delivery of a quality installation customer experience: each time, every time. Fulfillment has to deliver on the promises that our Sales Consultants make. The Project Manager oversees the designing of construction jobs to maximize the company's efficiency and ability to meet or exceed gross margin targets. This person continually reviews contracts, permits, technical measurements and job completion sheets to determine job specifics, identify opportunities to enhance installation efficiencies, and proactively improve performance.
Job Duties
Below is a summary of the primary essential job duties of this position:
1.Safety: OSHA log losses, fines and safe work practices.
a. OSHA compliance
b. Establish, train and enforce safety plan(s) for every assigned job.
i.Worker safe practices.
ii.Protecting the structure and the clients.
c. Be a contributing member of safety enforcement.
d. Report any workers' compensation injuries; non-compliance with safety procedures or other issues affecting
quality, safety, or company image or sub-standard job performance.
e. Empowered to stop a job for noncompliance with regard to quality or safety.
2. Customer Experience: Maximize customer experience and achieve 9 or 10 on Medallia NPS.
a . Model a ‘customer experience' focused approach to all team members and clients.
b. Promote All One Team to all customers internal and external.
c. Provide availability to be key customer contact in the field for all jobs issues, product issues or
customer complaints.
d. Be the customers first point of contact and maintain responsiveness and professionalism at all
times.
3. Margin: Achieve job margin targets related to Install labor
a. Job review for quality and accuracy
b. Manage jobs to achieve margin targets.
c. Complete Change Orders and all documentation in a timely fashion.
d. Assist in the Accounts Receivable collection process as needed.
e. Track billing to completion and final closeout.
f. Promote best pricing practices with all purchases: materials, tools, equipment.
g. Manage in-field use of tools to promote best practices and long-term tool life.
h. Monitor materials and labor utilized on the job to continually watch for opportunities to reduce overruns and anticipate problems for immediate resolution.
4. 1st Time Completion and Schedule: Achieve First Time Completion Rate targets for Installation.
Manage teams to complete jobs the first time out.
i.Conduct pre-install meetings with Install Leads/Teams.
ii.Coach proper roll out, install and wrap up procedures.
iii.Coach effective communication and documentation.
Visit assigned jobsites and conduct Jobsite Visit Audits, document accordingly and conduct onsite training as needed.
i.Act on any remarks from the Jobsite Visit Reports that will impact the company's ability to enhance performance. Provide recommendations to management.
Maintain awareness of installation schedule to help ensure we maximize efficiency of each job. Establishes communication schedule with Team Leads for ongoing status of installations.
i.Flag Scheduler if alterations need to be made to install schedule.
Reach or exceed On-Time installation schedules. Being on-time is a combination of promised lead times and customer perception of our keeping our promises.
5. Installation and Quality: Manage to RBA standards of quality.
Oversee Install all products as needed.
Plans all phases of the construction lifecycle from initiation to completion
Manages the permitting process from execution to final inspection
Orders necessary supplies, tools and equipment.
Makes sure projects are aligned with agreed-upon plans.
Communicates with clients and delivers project progress reports.
Collaborates with architects, engineers, electricians, drywallers and other specialists.
Ensures that all local, state and national building codes, regulations are followed.
Maintain quality installation standards.
i.Maintain current knowledge of best practices.
ii.On-site job coaching and training.
iii.Job Site Visit reporting.
Do the right thing by the customer and building science best practices. Waterproofing etc. must be correct.
Participate in on-going installer meetings to communicate changes to installation techniques, environmental conditions, new requirements and general housekeeping.
Assist with development of service and installation procedures in coordination with company personnel and policy.
Ensure job Team Leader is in compliance with work site requirements and that site is cleaned up daily and at completion of job.
6. Documentation: Provide accurate, complete and timely documentation. Provide suggestions where improvement is necessary.
Commit to using the Clear, Concise and Valid (CCV) method of communication.
Provide accurate and timely documentation to internal and external clients.
Keep logs and notes for jobs in accessible manner, TEAMS is preferred.
Commit to effective photo documentation per RBA requirements.
Qualifications
?High school diploma or GED required
?Additional education in related field preferred
?5 years or more of Installation or Construction experience required
?Management or Supervisory experience in the construction industry required
?Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
?Spends approximately 20% of work time sitting and meeting with others or working at a desk and/or computer in the office.
