Plumbing Project Manager - Residential
We are recruiting for a Plumbing Project Manager in the Chantilly, VA area with residential construction experience. Successful candidates must have a minimum of 3 years residential plumbing experience with projects larger than $50,000. Our client is a large regional contractor that specialises in large estate single family homes in the Washington DC metro area. is in expansion mode. The position needs to be filled immediately.
Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Manages and supervises all phases of assigned projects
- Prepare and manage schedules
- Estimate Change Orders
- Negotiate all change orders and maintain change order logs
- Manages project budget and approves all expenses
- Complete the permit applications
- Contract Administration
- Buyout of Subcontracts & Equipment
- Interface with the owner on all projects assigned
- Assemble and maintain complete project records and close-out documents
- Perform project punch-list inspection(s), in coordination with superintendent and the owner’s representative, and issue punch list to all relevant subcontractors
- Stay in contact with past clients for repeat work.
