Job description
The project manager creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities. Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope. Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client. Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards. Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures. Minimizes our exposure and risk on project. Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Direct and manage project development from beginning to end
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
• Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
• Track project milestones and deliverables.
• Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrate managerial and development experience must be related to ERP systems and business intelligence.
Strong project management, analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrate high-energy level and strong work ethics.
Ability to manage multiple projects and issues to agreed time, resources and cost deadlines.
Excellent customer service, team development, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills as well as formal presentation skills.
Strong familiarity with project management software, such as MS Projects.
Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
Flexible during times of change.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, IT or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience managing a staff of 2 or more.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred, with practical knowledge and application of PMBOK concepts required.
• Minimum 3 years of project management for IT application development and implementation projects.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business process analysis and/or improvement.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Shared Services organization with high volume of transactions – Accounts Payable and Cash Application.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with SW implementation – such as T&E Management P2P or O2C.
Supervisory responsibilities are necessary.
Assign, monitor and be responsible for the completion of tasks, as necessary.
Ensure employees are aware of and follow all policies and procedures.
Ensure employees have appropriate and realistic job goals.
Provide ongoing feedback concerning employees' performance.
Conduct performance appraisals on an annual basis, including assessing how an employee has performed and what they can do to improve in their jobs.
Superior problem-solving ability
• Ability to analyze qualitative data
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in business terms
• Advance time management and analytical skills.
