We are on the lookout for a passionate, dynamic, and highly motivated Permanent Project Manager to join our fast-paced Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of engineering concepts, and a knack for leading and inspiring teams. This role will involve overseeing all aspects of our engineering projects, from strategic planning and risk management to budgeting and resource allocation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
1. Leading the planning and implementation of project plans, ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
2. Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
3. Developing a detailed project plan to track progress and adjusting the plan as needed.
4. Utilizing industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution.
5. Conducting risk management to minimize project risks and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
6. Managing the relationship with all stakeholders and ensuring clear and timely communication.
7. Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation.
8. Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff.
9. Optimizing and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary.
10. Securing growth opportunities and initiating new projects, managing the cost, and resource allocation.
11. Leading and coaching the project team members and encouraging a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field is required.
2. Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in an engineering environment.
3. Proven ability to solve problems creatively and experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
4. Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach to decision-making.
5. Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
6. Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
7. Solid understanding of financial management and performance metrics.
8. Strong competency in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10. Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire team members.
11. Strong working knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
12. Proficient in contract management, process improvement, and cost control.
