Our company is seeking a dynamic and seasoned Project Manager to join our team. This role is integral to our operations and requires a candidate with a deep understanding of the construction and restoration industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Xactimate, Mitigation, Remediation, Restoration, Reconstruction, Project Management, Construction Management, Time Management, and Communication. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects and play a significant role in the company's success.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of construction and restoration projects from initiation to completion.
- Utilize Xactimate software for estimating and project management.
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors to ensure standards of building performance, quality, cost schedules and safety are maintained.
- Develop and implement project work plans and make revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope, including mitigation, remediation, restoration, and reconstruction efforts.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Conduct project reviews and create detailed reports for executive staff.
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.
- Manage project budget and project resource allocation.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in Project Management, specifically within the construction and restoration industry.
- Proficiency in Xactimate software is a must.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in mitigation, remediation, restoration, and reconstruction.
- Strong understanding of construction management processes, means and methods.
- Exceptional ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Competent in conflict and crisis management.
- Outstanding leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field is preferred.
- Professional Project Management (PMP) certification would be considered an asset.
